About

I started this project because I was unable to find a revised version of the EEA Regulations taking in to account all of the various amendments issued by the UK Government. From time to time Legislation.gov.uk does update itself and provide the correct latest information, but at other times, it does not and that status is shown below.

Since I am not a lawyer and this is a personal website, please double check any of the information that you find on the website before relying on it, and if you do manage to spot any discrepancies then feel free to let me know, so that I am able to correct them.

You can send an email via: info at eearegulations.co.uk

Legislation.gov.uk status (Last Update: 27 Jun 2020 11:07:38 GMT):

Changes to legislation:

The Immigration (European Economic Area) Regulations 2016 is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 27 June 2020. There are changes that may be brought into force at a future date.

Let’s talk about copyright.

Most of the content on this site, is released by the UK Government (or as a derivative work of that information) and appears to be © Crown Copyright, however www.legislation.gov.ukwhich is the source of the information, simulatenously claims that the material is released under the Open Government License.

Let’s talk about cookies – how and why this site uses them.

Cookies enable me to identify your device, strictly speaking this site could operate without any cookies but they are used to give me valuable feedback as to who is accessing the website, what pages they are looking at and what countries it is being accessed from to help me to improve the performance and for me to provide you with a better user experience. Tracking is provided by Google Analytics where you can read more.

Secondly Google adsense is used to provide targeted advertising on the pages. The online behavioural advertising cookies enable Adsense to tailor this advertising and make it more relevant to you.

To keep any revenue completely separate from my own personal finances I’ve set up a company (DigiMangos Ltd) which now controls the hosting and operational costs and expenses around this website to which I personally volunteer my time to keep running. In time, I hope to provide more of these types of websites, since almost everything I look for on legislation.gov.uk is not current. My intention is to use any revenue to help grow technical expertise abroad although since revenues are low and trickle through, it’s going to get off to a slow start.
